It was a rare chance to see the exquisite booths before the crowds arrive and get a glimpse of the preparations for tonight's grand gala benefit, which were well under way. Podos and Jeffers introduced us to a few key antiques dealers and galleries to get a feel for the range of the event; the furniture and decorative fine art at this year's show truly span centuries and styles, and there are dealers visiting from all over the world.Read More
Julia Millay Walsh | October 25, 2011 8:00 amThe San Francisco Fall Antiques Show celebrates its 30th anniversary this Thursday through Saturday at the Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason! This year, more than 60 new and returning dealers from across the US and Europe will present thousands of decorative and fine art objects, including furniture, silver, ceramics, glass, jewelry, rugs, textiles, paintings, prints, and photographs in a range of styles.
The event had its 15 minutes of fame this Summer when celeb interior designer and star of Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators Jeffrey Alan Marks (left) visited it, along with partner Ross Cassidy (right), to shop for themselves as well as clients.
