Just a few minutes' walk from Bardessono is Ad Hoc (6476 Washington St., Yountville, 707-944-2487), the casual dining restaurant from French Laundry chef Thomas Keller. We had dinner there the night of our stay, and I highly recommend making this part of your eco getaway. Reservations are a must but can be made a month or so in advance online or by phone.
