Zagat's 2012 SF Bay Area restaurant survey covering 1,448 restaurants in the area is hot off the presses today, and one of the most exciting elements is the addition of food trucks to the survey. This year, ratings and reviews for 37 trucks are available on Zagat.com, and the top food truck is Spencer on the Go!, which dishes out "lobster corn dogs, escargot lollipops and other imaginative French street fare from the excellent folks at Chez Spencer." Other newly Zagat-rated trucks range a variety of cuisines and include El Tonayense (Mexican), Mama's Empanadas (Italian/Pan-Latin), Liba Falafel (Middle Eastern), and Chairman Bao Bun (Chinese), among others.
